This is me.
A warm welcome to you!
My artist name is Nina Faradjinia.
I was born and raised in Europe (Germany). My roots are in Iran and I come from a family of journalists.
I think my creative streak comes from my mother’s side.
I am inspired by my favorite uncle Mahmoud Zende from the south of France and my other famous uncle Charles Hossein Zenderoudi from Paris.
Both received numerous awards and prizes during their careers. They are still my role models today.
I have always been particularly interested in design, architecture and fashion.
I would therefore describe myself as a rather visual and creative person who tries to express herself through her art. As I have traveled a lot in my life and still love variety today, I also reflect this in my art in different styles.
Faces in particular have always inspired and captivated me when painting.
I started painting my own pictures about 10 years ago.
In my search for motifs, I was particularly fascinated and attracted by faces from society. So I tried myself out.
I wanted to follow my passion and not what I had originally learned. To this day, I still enjoy creating the faces of society.
Many different colors create lively, abstract and modern faces. So I refer to all my artworks not just as “family members”, but as a “Faradjinia”.
As an artist, I can share my art with the world and this is still a great motivation and passion today.
Inspiration.
Whether man or woman, happy or sad – at the end of the day, I am always amazed at how versatile faces can be.
I try to express this enthusiasm in all my pictures through expressive color combinations.
See for yourself!
